Abstract
dc:description.abstractMorgon-Kara is a one movement orchestra piece. It is a character piece which evokes a feeling of primitive cultures. The instrumentation is as follows: 1 piccolo, 1 flute (doubles alto flute), 1 oboe, 1 English horn, 2 B$\flat$ clarinets, 1 bass clarinet, 2 bassoons, 1 contrabassoon, 4 horns, 3 C trumpets, 2 trombones, 1 tuba, timpani, tam-tam, bass drum, harp, piano, 30 violins (1&2), 10 violas, 10 cellos, and 8 double basses.
