Analysis of a skyscraper

This analysis will involve the skyscraper as a building type. It is my premise that in order to achieve a successful building which has the qualities of place-making, character, and prominence, the issues of formal resolution, contextual response, and symbolic performance must be addressed. The study will include an historical analysis of the evolution of the tall building sighting important problems, relationships, individuals, and their contributions made in the development of the type.
