A sample of participants aged 14–16 (M = 14.85, SD = 0.81) conducted three tasks, baseline measure, Go/No-Go task, and the Cyberball paradigm. ERP components were extracted from EEG measures, P3 and LPP for the Cyberball paradigm, and ERN and Pe for the Go/No-Go task. Preliminary correlational analyses and regression analyses were performed on the ERP components of Cyberball and Go/No-Go. The analyses yielded no significant results, however several limitations may have influenced the findings. Exploratory linear mixed model analyses comparing ERP amplitudes across task conditions were then conducted. Despite nonsignificant findings, this study may contribute to expanding evidence that cognitive processes, such as performance monitoring, might depend on emotional contexts, such as social exclusion. Tilgangur rannsóknarinnar var að rannsaka hvort taugafræðileg svörun við félagslegri útskúfun væri tengd taugafræðilegri svörun við vöktun á frammistöðu meðal ungmenna. Úrtak 14–16 ára einstaklinga (M = 14,85; SF = 0,81) framkvæmdu þrjú verkefni, grunnulínumælingu, Go/No-Go verkefni og Cyberball verkefni. Hrifrit (event-related potentials [ERP]) voru mæld með heilarafriti (EEG) á meðan verkefnunum stóð. Fylgnipróf og línulegar aðhvarfsgreiningar voru framkvæmdar á hrifritum úr Cyberball og Go/No-Go, en engar marktækar niðurstöður fundust.
