Auðlindir hafsins : hafsjór spurninga

This project is about making a teaching application about the Icelandic fishing industry for primary school students, the user group is 8-14 year old students. The application was made for Sjávarútvegsmiðstöðin and is both an app for the students to use and a website for the admin and teachers. In the app the students can read the teaching material, watch videos and take part in quizzing games that test their knowledge. The app also has a reward system where the students can earn rewards if they reach certain goals. On the website the admin can add and modify the teaching material and put together the games. The teacher can follow up on his/her student's progress and view all the material. The goal is that this application will be used in teaching, starting next fall in Naustaskóli in Akureyri.
