A care pathway has been created in which structured care is offered with the involvement of multiple specialisms and which is scientifically supported. Various studies have shown that patients and healthcare providers consider it important that the necessary specialisms in the field of pelvic pain are involved from the outset of a care pathway. This ensures that nothing is overlooked in terms of the patient's mental and physical health. In addition, it became clear that cooperation between specialisms is very important and that this also applies outside the hospital, for example in communication with pelvic physiotherapists and their treatment. Looking at the current guidelines, there is still room for improvement in the treatment provided by pelvic physiotherapists.","Radboud University, 24 oktober 2025","Promotores : Kluivers, K.B., Vissers, K.C.P.
