Psychological interventions have been developed, including the SWORD intervention, but these are not yet available for clinical practice. This research shows that SWORD is effective and feasible in psycho-oncology practice, but also highlights challenges for implementation. Screening of FCR and referral of patients to psychological help falls short due to lack of knowledge, awareness and appropriate screening tools. Furthermore, psychologists experience a challenge to apply evidence-based treatment protocols within a personalized psychological therapy. Finally, the organization of care in the Netherlands hinders the implementation of interventions with a eHealth component. Implementation strategies should be performed with the joint effort of researchers, practitioners, psycho-oncological centers, and policy makers to ensure that these interventions will be made available.","Radboud University, 08 april 2025","Promotores : Prins, J.B., Hermens, R.P.M.G.
