Experimental studies (RCTs) that evaluated the effectiveness of mindfulness-based parenting interventions on parenting related stress in mothers, fathers and primary caregivers were included. Twelve trials were included: 6 in the meta-analysis and 6 in the narrative synthesis. Overall, both the meta-analysis and narrative synthesis of RCTs demonstrated a lack of statistically significant difference between the control and experimental groups. Methodological issues, clinical implications and ideas for future research have been discussed.<br/><br/><b>The lived experience of primary caregiving parents of individuals with a learning disability transitioning to adulthood</b>:<br/><br/>This study employed an Interpretive Phenological Analytical methodology and included 8 primary caregiving parents.
