The discovery of a novel bioactive peptide identified from the defensive skin secretion of Hylarana guentheri

I was greatly honoured to have had the opportunity to study at Queen’s University Belfast and to complete my academic degree of MPhil. I am extremely grateful to people who supported and helped me during my MPhil period. Without their assistance, I could not have finished my project successfully.<br/>First of all, I would like to show my sincere gratitude to my supervisors, Prof. Chris Shaw, Dr. Tianbao Chen, Dr. Mei Zhou and Dr. Lei Li. They taught me not only specific knowledge but also a rigorous attitude towards science. When I had difficulties in my experiments, they were always patient in guiding me through these.<br/>I would like to express my thanks to Dr. Chengbang Ma, Dr. Xinping Xi, Dr. Lei Wang, Dr. YuXin Wu and other colleagues. They taught me a lot of knowledge which could be applied in my experiments. They also encouraged me when I was depressed.<br/>In addition, I would like to give my thanks to my roommates and other friends. I was so lucky to meet them and spend this period of time studying abroad together.
