This thesis is comprised of an empirical study that investigated eight adults' lived experience of T2-low severe asthma by utilising the methodology of interpretative phenomenological analysis, and a systematic review of the experiences and perceptions of children with asthma by utilising the methodology of thematic synthesis. Resulting themes and implications for research and practice are outlined in both pieces of work.<br/><i><br/><br/></i>
