EXPERIMENTAL AND MODELING ANALYSIS OF ELECTRIC SYSTEMS WITH HIGH CAPACITIVE AND INDUCTIVE COUPLINGS
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe present doctoral thesis Experimental and Modeling Analysis of Electric Systems with High Capacitive and Inductive Couplings investigates several kinds of electromagnetic coupling which inuence strongly the electric system operation. The electromagnetic coupling is a fundamental phenomenon that governs the behaviour of many electrical devices, but on the other hand can produce detrimental effects on their performances. In particular, electrical devices are frequently dominated by non-ideal parameters, attributable to circuital, geometrical or environmental issues. Electrical engineering deals with the possibility to reduce non-ideality as much as possible through appropriate design solutions and modelling analysis.
