Several problems and needs were identified, but the most pressing need was availability of toilets which was the base the formulation of the project. Thus the overall aim of the project was to improve the hygienic situation of Nyakato Machinjioni through toilet construction. Thirty nine people were trained on the importance of toilets in maintaining hygienic condition and two toilets were constructed and are in use. The surrounding environments, that is, 3 hectors were cleaned and the cleanliness is regularly done. Two janitors were also employed to take care of the toilets cleanliness.
