Neue Reaktionsweisen eines Tetragermabuta-1,3-diens und von Digermenen
Abstract
dc:description.abstractHexakis(2,4,6-triisopropylphenyl)tetragermabuta-1,3-diene (1), which is accessible by a one-pot synthesis, decomposes at temperatures above 65 C to cleavage products which contain one to three Ge-atoms. The reaction of 1 with germanocene proceeds with exchange of an aryl- by a Cp-group and gives a tetragermacyclobutene. The attempted reaction of 1 with decamethylgermanocene did not succeed. However, the crystal structure of Ge(Cp*)2 could be determined. It fits well in the series of decamethylmetallocenes of group 14. The reaction of 1 with small amounts of O2 yielded a six-membered ring with an endocyclic Ge-Ge double bond containing a Ge-O bond. With maleic anhydride a tricyclic compound is formed with a Ge3-moiety in the molecule. Treatment of 1 with gold(I) iodide at 60 C furnished the first digermene-gold(I)-pi-complex. However, the analogous reaction of the correspondingly substituted digermene yielded solely a 1,2-diiododigermane, even at very low temperature.
