By reacting the lithium salt [Tbf][Li(THF)4] with chlorotitanium alkoxides and -phenoxides, tetrabenzo[a,c,g,i]fluorenyltitanium complexes of the general formula [(?5-Tbf)TiClx(OiPr)] (x = Cl, OiPr) and [(?5-Tbf)Ti(OAr)] (Ar = C6H5, 4 MeC6H5, 4 tBuC6H5) could be obtained. Furthermore, the TbfTi-complexes [(?5 Tbf)TiCl2(THF)] and [(?5-Tbf)TiCl3] were synthesized, whereupon the titanium(III) complex [(?5 Tbf)TiCl2(THF)] was reacted with radicals to give the compounds [(?5 Tbf)TiCl2TEMPO] and [(?5 Tbf)TiCl2(OtBu)], and the titanium(IV)-complex [(?5 Tbf)TiCl3] was reacted with an array of lithiumphenoxides to form monophenoxide complexes of the general formula [(?5-Tbf)TiCl2(OAr)] (Ar = 4-tBuC6H4, 2,6-Me2C6H3, 2,4,6-Me3C6H2, 2,6-iPr2C6H3, 2,6-Ph2C6H3). Durch Umsetzung des Lithiumsalzes [Tbf][Li(THF)4] mit Chlorotitanalkoxiden und -phenoxiden konnten Tetrabenzo[a,c,g,i]fluorenyltitanalkoxo und -phenoxokomplexe der allgemeinen Formel [(?5-Tbf)TiClx(OiPr)] (x = Cl, OiPr) und [(?5-Tbf)Ti(OAr)] (Ar = C6H5, 4-MeC6H5, 4 tBuC6H5) dargestellt werden. Des Weiteren wurden die TbfTi-Komplexe [(?5 Tbf)TiCl2(THF)] und [(?5-Tbf)TiCl3] dargestellt, wobei der Titan(III)-Komplex [(?5 Tbf)TiCl2(THF)] mit Radikalen bzw. Radikalbildnern zu [(?5 Tbf)TiCl2TEMPO] und [(?5 Tbf)TiCl2(OtBu)], der Titan(IV)-Komplex [(?5-Tbf)TiCl3] mit Lithiumphenoxiden zu einer Reihe von Monophenoxokomplexen der allgemeinen Formel [(?5-Tbf)TiCl2(OAr)] (Ar = 4-tBuC6H4, 2,6-Me2C6H3, 2,4,6-Me3C6H2, 2,6-iPr2C6H3, 2,6-Ph2C6H3) umgesetzt werden konnte.
