The PEDI ( Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory ) and GMFM (Gross Motor Function Measure ) were the outcome measures. An equal time period of ten weeks elapsed between four test dates. Following the baseline of ten weeks without treatment, each subject received hippotherapy once a week for ten weeks. Participation wasexcellent. One way analysis of variance with repeated measures was done with a priori p < .05. The null was rejected for all of the PEDI subscales, four out of five GMFM subscales, the total PEDI score and the total GMFM score.
