Mandibular reconstruction is crucial to restore form and function following segmental mandibulectomies for ablative tumour therapy. Traditional methods utilizing free hand contouring of the neomandible rely heavily on the individual clinician’s experience and produced variable results. The introduction of Computer Assisted Mandibular Reconstruction (CAMR) is reported to improve several outcomes of mandibular reconstruction, one of which is the accuracy and predictability of reconstruction.
