This is termed \"Controlled Video Frame Loss Scheme\" (CVFL) and its implementation is discussed in detail in this thesis. By means of computer simulation, it is shown that the boundary multiplex load for a video multiplexer using the proposed CVFL scheme is of the order of 0.78. This is much higher than the value of 0.5 reported for other schemes. The CVFL scheme can thus be used in unidirectional bus networks (UBNs) for video transmission and video-data integration.
