Abstract
dc:description.abstractMy doctoral thesis centers on cultural and creative goods. I study the long-lasting impacts of culture on economic activities. Cultural diversity may serve as a benefit for innovation, and this has been examined in chapter 3. Cultural distance may serve as a cost to international trade, which has been explored in chapter 2. I also investigate how to price an IP or creative product and how a policy affects players’ welfare using a theoretical framework, in chapter 1.
