The following four areas are included: (1) An examination of CPTED, it's potential use in Force Protection, and the development of guidelines for it's future use. (2) An examination of significant acts of terrorism to see if and how CPTED guidelines could have been applied to increase target security. (3) Examples of how CPTED guidelines were applied to improve Force Protection at Joint Interagency Task Force - East (JIATF-EAST).
