This thesis presents an overview of the recruiting process, including the mission, target market, players, and business rules. The recruiting business model is decomposed into its components, and information flow through each component is further examined. Graphic models are created using ExtendiÌ visual modeling and simulation software to establish a direct labor cost-per-task measure for the current or \"As Is\" system. \"As Is\" data are generated and recorded for each of the information flow tasks to be evaluated. Considering applications of information technology that may improve information flow tasks, future or \"To Be\" models are applied to the respective tasks and data are collected and recorded. Cost-per-task data for the \"As Is\" and \"To Be\" models are compared, and potential efficiencies gained are noted.
