Present users of the system were interviewed and their functions described and flow diagrammed. .- Other educational information systems were investigated for possible application at the Postgraduate School. A number of differences between this School and other civilian institutions and several problem areas were revealed in this study. It was concluded that a common data base of information on all -> personnel connected with the USNPGS would be feasible and would eliminate much duplication of effort in present administrative offices.
