<p>This thesis is a look at the process an actor goes through in creating a fictional character based on a historical person. It is not intended to be a guide for other actors but instead a look at the work of one particular actor in portraying Giuseppe Zangara in Sondheim and Weidman's Assassins. This thesis consists of historical research, character and script analysis, as well as a personal reflection of the performance.</p>
