Factors leading to successful application of improvement tools for quality management
Abstract
dc:description.abstract"This research proposes a generic two-stage model for ITA development in manufacturing and non-manufacturing organizations. The Early Stage (ES) occurs when an organization is in the initial stage of establishing an environment supportive of ITA, when tools are being introduced, and when tools are used with help from facilitators. The Advanced Stage (AS) occurs when an organization's management and employees have made a commitment to, and have succeeded in, using tools as a way of doing business. Included in this model are 16 Critical Success Factors (CSF) for each stage."--Abstract, page iii.
