Despite the availability of PrEP, previous literature indicates that providers often refrain from prescribing the treatment due to a lack of confidence and insufficient resources to guide their practice. To address this gap, we implemented a quality improvement initiative by providing a concise, one-page educational tool to healthcare providers. Over a three-month period, the intervention aimed to enhance provider knowledge and comfort with PrEP prescribing protocols. The results showed a significant increase in provider confidence and a greater willingness to prescribe PrEP to qualifying patients.
