I have selected six events from my history that illustrate this theme. The memoir describes my family’s strong connection to the Roman Catholic religion, my participation in following the dogma of the Church, a rejection of the religion and the search for a philosophy that satisfied my needs. The settings for the pieces are in Idaho, Oregon, Italy, Sudan, Guatemala, and Montana.
