Learning to Be Home: Perspectives from a Year in Patagonia

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

This is a nonfiction account of a twenty-four year-old woman from Ohio living in a small town in southern Chile in 2007. It is both her story of journeying to define that fickle four-letter word, home, and a depiction of contemporary history of the people and landscape of a remote and rapidly changing region.
