The time interval variable in discrimination learning with retarded and normal subjects

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

Although it would appear that normal and retarded subjects of similar mental ages should perform in a similar fashion, this has seldom been the case. This research, aimed primarily at dealing with this discrepancy in discrimination learning process results, should be particularly important in that it will attempt to provide some further accurately measure evidence within this area, and explore a variable hitherto neglected in prior related research. This variable to be examined will be the time intervals existing between the stimuli presentations and the subjects* responses in discrimination learning tasks.
