The effectiveness of driver education courses in selected New Brunswick high schools

"High school driver education in New Brunswick has not been available on a province wide basis except as an optional non-credit course operated at the discretion of each district board of school trustees. The effectiveness of these courses had never been examined so that two major areas were investigated in this study. The first was concerned with differences in a student’s knowledge with respect to the automobile, the rules of the road, and the responsibilities he might have as the operator of a motor vehicle as a result of a driver education program. The second involved an analysis of differences in knowledge between students enrolled in a driver education program as compared to those not following a driver education program."
