Abstract

dc:description.abstract

Things That Send Women Running is a collection of poems that explores the cultivation of the female identity by the way of ordinary life experience, including domestic responsibilities, familial relationships, and interaction with men. The majority of the poems are written in free verse, though a few loosely follow the tradition of the Shakespearean sonnet.
