Abstract

dc:description.abstract

It is the purpose of this paper to explore the design process involved in the setting and costumes of Step on a Crack, by Suzan Zeder, which was presented by Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri, for its children's theater production in the 1978-79 season. This paper also gives details on the work involved in constructing the setting and costumes, arranging the tour--including lighting--and being the technical touring manager. It reviews the home performances and concludes with a summary of observations and suggestions for future work.
