Major hypotheses of the current study were that a woman's perception of sexual harassment is mediated by her stage of feminist identity development and that the perception of sexual harassment is related to the labeling of sexual harassment. The first hypothesis is not supported by the data. The second hypothesis is shown to have strong empirical support, and is consistent with those results reported in previous research. Methodological difficulties of the current study are presented and suggestions for improvement offered.
