The two methods were compared and contrasted to determine if the inconsistencies in judges' ratings could be reduced through the altering of the methods. The study found that there are numerous variations of the two methods created by the different states to meet the needs within each state. It was found that regardless of the method used, workshops should be required for the adjudicators to attend in order for them to have a better understanding of their responsibilities and the adjudication form which they are to use.
