The format of the project is a 25 minute video-tape suitable for broadcast television. Video-tape content is primarily taken from interviews with five individuals who are experts on the topic; each of these individuals is a resident of Springfield. The tape is informative and persuasive in nature; the tape should increase viewer empathy with rape victims. The program was recorded on 3/4\" color video cassette with studio and portable equipment. A pilot study to measure effectiveness of the program in changing viewer attitudes about rape victims was conducted. Subjects were Speech 125 students at Southwest Missouri State University.
