This development, coupled with a substantial change in water level in the White River valley resulting from the construction of three major reservoirs, levels currently induce approximately 1.1*10⁶ gallons of water per day to flow out of Table Rock Lake toward wells in Branson. Thus a major portion of Branson's water supply is indirectly taken from Table Rock Lake. Further development and increased water demand of the area will accelerate this outflow.
