One hundred licensed professional counselors practicing in the southwest region of Missouri were surveyed. Thirty-five percent returned the survey; however, only twenty-four percent completed the survey. It was found that a combination of self-reports, parent reports, food diaries, physician reports, and school reports is most frequently utilized to facilitate in making a diagnosis.
