A total of nine species was collected from five sample areas. Sample area one had the highest percent available light and lowest percent soil water holding capacity due to a prior burn. Sample area three had the lowest percent available light and the highest percent soil water holding capacity. Soil pH showed little variation throughout the five sample areas.
