The programs investigated were traditional pull-out programs, remedial instruction in the homeroom, and double staffed classrooms. The data was collected in the form of a questionnaire designed by the researcher. Elementary teachers were surveyed to determine which program they perceived to be most effective in meeting the needs of remedial students and promoting positive self-concepts.
