A further purpose was to find out how these parents felt about their local public schools. The study also included data concerning day school facilities, tuition, government influence in private education, child care, class size, racial integration, curriculum, and religious training. The study was composed of data gathered by means of a questionnaire from 738 parents representing 1,007 students from throughout the United States. All these students were enrolled in some type of Assemblies of God educational program. The study concluded that the most important reason parents had for enrolling their children in Assemblies of God Christian schools was to have them educated in a Christian environment.
