The study involved 184 sixth, seventh and eighth grade students from a gifted program. The Zenhausern Hemispheric Cognitive Style was administered to all students reported in the study. Scores were compared by use of the chi square test of significance with p = .05 and the Pearson r correlation estimate. A significant difference was found to exist between students' sex and brain dominance. Although not significant, there appeared to be a strong relationship between brain dominance and grade level.
