A questionnaire was compiled and sent to the elementary music instructors of class A and class AA schools in Southwest Missouri. The results of the questionnaire showed that only one instructor uses Computer Assisted Instruction in their music classroom. Other instructors gave such reasons as poor access to a computer, lack of materials for music, and a general lack of knowledge about computers, for not using Computer Assisted Instruction in the music classroom. Computers are used by some instructors for administrative tasks.
