Botanical Survey of Seven Sites Along the Jack's Fork River, Ozark National Scenic Riverways
Abstract
dc:description.abstractA survey of the vascular flora of seven sites in Ozark National Scenic Riverways, Missouri, was made between 27 September 1991 and 17 September 1994. A checklist of 690 taxa representing 116 families, 377 genera, 66 Shannon County records and 20 Texas County records is included. The families with the largest number of taxa are Asteraceae with 109, 58 Poaceae and 40 Leguminosae. Prior to this study, a total of 13 state listed species were known from the study sites. Five additional listed species were collected during this study and new sites were discovered for one previously known species.
