Development of an automated efficiency and loss measurement system for high-efficiency power converters
Abstract
dc:description.abstractWhen building a high performance power converter system, characterization becomes a significant task in and of itself. This thesis addresses the development of an automated efficiency and loss measurement system for high-efficiency power converters. The design, construction, calibration, and evaluation of such a measurement setup is described, including development of software to control the system. Application of the setup to a solar high- efficiency grid-tie inverter system is also addressed.
