The bicycle was required to operate between two modes, one that permitted fast transport of the operator from one location to another, and a second configuration which could permit the operator to carry large amounts of cargo, or a wounded individual, easily. The design was found to be effective in both configurations. Further investigations into mass production and Design for Manufacturing should be pursued.","abstract_html":"A design project was carried out which involved the design, manufacturing, and assembly of a hybrid bicycle.
