Today there is a wide range of experiential learning programs using a variety of methodologies. However, there is a surprising dearth of research on the effectiveness of such programs for learning in business. This thesis reviews and analyzes one form of experiential learning--a program that utilizes outdoor activities for leadership and teamwork training--to understand the value proposition of such education for corporate clients. From this, a framework for implementing a successful experiential learning program was suggested and then analyzed by the design and delivery of a new, original experiential training program utilizing improvisational theater techniques.
