The idea behind the project is to create a framework for putting supply chain events into a broader supply chain context and assessing their criticality. Such a framework can then be utilized as a starting point for supply chain event management software applications. The problem has been approached from a \"micro\" point of view, with the analysis and PERT modeling of a single order fulfillment process, and from a \"macro\" point of view, with the analysis and a very simple model of the inventory itself.
