We used an optical folded bus as the architecture for the LAN and analyzed the system's delay for both time division multiplexing and a reservations. The multiple wavelength system is assumed to have a very limited number of wavelengths and therefore does not apply a typical wavelength division multiplexing. The analysis of the delay involves mostly queueing analysis, with extensive use of Laplace transforms and Z-transforms.
