dc:description.abstractThis thesis examines the rules and regulations influencing foreign investments in India's real estate sector. Specifically, this thesis discusses the Foreign Direct Investment Policy, The Foreign Exchange Management Act and the Reserve Bank of India's Foreign Exchange Management Regulations. Combined, they presents a comprehensive regulatory roadmap for the foreign investor evaluating an entry into the country's real estate sector.
