Mechanical design of an ultrasonic tomographic imaging system
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe paper presents the design and fabrication of a prototype for limb imaging aimed at tackling several of the issues. The design of the a US probe positioning system is intended to augment a system for motion measurement as well as a framework for the integration of motion and US data. The design of the imaging system below represents early steps towards a full-volume imaging technique for use in computer-aided prosthetic socket design.
