The pronoun of address in Schiller's dramas

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

This thesis represents practical knowledge gained by a critical study of the pronoun of address, as Schiller used it in his dramas. As far as the writer knows no one has ever written anything concerning Schiller's use of the pronoun of address, and thirdly that he used it effectively. The aims of this treatise are three: first to show how Schiller used the pronoun of address, secondly that he was consistent in his use of the pronoun of address, and thirdly that he used it effectively.
