The supply response of Malaysian rubber in mature acreage an econometric analysis
Abstract
dc:description.abstract"There are six chapters to the thesis. Chapter II gives a brief summary of variables associated with the structure of the industry. One chapter cannot fully describe an industry that has been in existence for decades. Thus only salient features pertinent to the study are outlined. Theory behind the model is discussed in Chapter III. The quantitative results and review of previous research is given in Chapter IV and V. Chapter IV outlines past models that have been written on perennial crops in general and rubber in particular. Model specification and data used is discussed in Chapter V. Findings are discussed and compared with past studies. Forecast is made with the final model chosen. Finally Chapter VI briefly outlines the whole study and any policy implications that can be derived."--Page 3.
