The thesis takes a sociological approach to the sensitive issue of contacts between football fans and criminal organizations. The relationship between fan clubs and organized crime does not exhaust the range of topics covered in the thesis, which attempts a complex analysis of the world of stadiums, fans, and organized groups in the stands, the interconnections between these actors and social phenomena, and the broader urban context in which sporting events and fan activities take place.
